My dad is always breaking my mother's butter dish so I hand carved her an indestructible one from California black walnut. If you use Kerrigold (grass fed!) or any European-style butter you've probably realized the difficulty in finding a proper butter tray that fits its size and looks good on your table. This does both. Could also function as a soap dish. Hand made to order.
